COMMUNITY INTERACTIOn
Predation Pandas can protect themselves as well as most other bears by using their physical strength, and powerful jaws and teeth. Pandas are preys to snow leopards in their habitat but they do not hunt or eat other animals but they only eat bamboos and leaves because it is where they get their food source from.Bamboo contains very little nutritional value so pandas must eat 12- 38 kg every day to meet their energy needs.

MutualismBoth the giant panda and bacteria share a symbiotic relationship, in which the animal benefits and the bacteria is neither helped nor harmed. Many of these bacteria, or microbes, float in the stomach of the pandas, which in fact, aid in digesting the food, producing vitamins, and shaping their immune systems

Inter specific competition The giant panda and the red panda do share some of the same characteristics both species compete for the same amount of resources like bamboo and bamboo leaves and there space to live in. Both compete for food, water, space , climate and shelter in order for them to survive .Red pandas share part of this habitat with giants, and are also found in the foothills of the Himalayas.
